• Business information — business name, address, industry or business type, time in business, and reported revenue.
• Funding request details — the amount requested, the type of financing, the purpose of the funds, collateral information, an estimated credit range, and any notes you add.
• Documents you upload — bank statements, tax returns, identification, financial statements, and other underwriting documents you choose to send us.
• Chat conversations — messages exchanged with our funding assistant, which are saved and attached to your request so our team has full context.
• Technical information — the IP address a submission came from, used to prevent abuse of our forms.

What we do not ask for online

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, full bank account or routing numbers, credit or debit card numbers, or account passwords through this website or the chat assistant. Please do not enter them. If a lender later requires that information, it will be collected through a secure channel a specialist arranges directly with you.

How we use your information

• To evaluate your financing request and determine which products may fit.
• To contact you about your request by phone, text, or email.
• To share your request and supporting documents with funding sources, lenders, and underwriters for the purpose of obtaining financing for you.
• To maintain internal records of applications, communications, and file status.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the documents you upload for advertising.

How your information is protected

• All pages and submissions on this website are served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
• Uploaded documents are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. There are no public document links, and documents are not indexed by search engines.
• Documents can only be retrieved by authorized PBI personnel after signing in to our internal system; every retrieval passes through an access-controlled endpoint.
• Application records are stored in an access-controlled database, not in your browser.
• Our internal lead dashboard is password-protected, rate-limited against repeated sign-in attempts, and excluded from search engines.

No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information you entrust to us.

How we share information

We share your information with:

• Funding sources, lenders, and underwriters — for the purpose of sourcing and evaluating financing for your request.
• Service providers — the hosting, database, file storage, email delivery, and AI assistant providers that operate this website's infrastructure, each acting on our behalf.
• Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

Communications consent

When you submit an application you authorize PBI Global Lending to contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request, including through automated dialing systems where applicable. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of obtaining financing. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or calling us at 860-474-0077.

Retention

We retain applications, uploaded documents, and conversation records for as long as needed to service your request and to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us; we will honor the request except where we are required to retain records.

Your choices

• You can ask us what information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• You can ask us to delete your information, subject to our recordkeeping obligations.
• You can withdraw a pending application at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The internal lead dashboard sets a single sign-in cookie for authorized PBI staff. Your browser may store a temporary session identifier for the funding assistant so your conversation continues if you navigate between pages; it is cleared when you close the browser tab.

Children

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Important disclosure

Submitting an application, uploading documents, or communicating with our team or funding assistant does not guarantee approval or funding. All requests are subject to review, underwriting, and approval.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
